There seems to be a lot of buzz around the upcoming update of PUBG, the popular battle royale game. This time around, the game is expected to receive a new game mode in the form of a ‘Death Race,’ which is something similar to the popular movie franchise of the same name. As suggested by the video posted on YouTube by Mr Ghost Gaming, this could also be an indication towards another crossover event that Tencent Games might be looking forward to adding in the game. The video also suggests that these new changes might come with the upcoming update version 0.16.0 of PUBG Mobile. 

According to the video, the new alleged Death Race mode looking like an action car racing game which takes place in a race course placed in Miramar map and the cars are equipped with different guns and weapons from the game. The video also shows that players can choose the weapons and cars of their choice. 

As per the video, players will have the option to select UAZ, Dacia or Buggy as their vehicle and each vehicle has different heavy-duty weapons mounted on then which include M134 miniguns, rockets, etc.console.log(isIndia && random
number By the looks of it, the premise of the new mode seems to be players destroying other players car and reach a target score.

The gameplay looks similar to the Team Deathmatch where two teams with up to four players in each are pitted against each other and are supposed to kill or destroy the cars in this case to win. The twist here is that players will have to do this from within the car and they won’t be able to get out of it during the match. Each team will have three vehicles with a maximum of two players in each. Apart from this, the new mode is expected to be called Derby Mode in the final release.
